The Anniversary: On June 14, 2025, FMX, BMX, MTB, and trampoline stars will fly through Dresden.

NIGHT of the JUMPs, the world’s most spectacular Freestyle MX sports series, will celebrate its anniversary season in 2025. For 25 years, it’s been all about action and adrenaline with breathtaking motorsports, insane pyrotechnics, and extreme sports at the highest level. On June 14, 2025, the best Freestyle Motocross, BMX/MTB, scooter, and trampoline athletes will take to the skies at Dresden’s Rudolf-Harbig-Stadium, performing death-defying tricks, breaking records, and pulling off jaw-dropping stunts.

Alongside the high-class Freestyle Motocross (FMX) competitions, fans will also witness for the first time spectacular contests in Mountainbike (MTB) and Freestyle Trampoline. Up to eight ramps, two Olympic trampolines, and a start tower over 10 meters high for MTB, BMX, and scooters will be available for the athletes – the perfect setup for an unforgettable show. Legendary stars and newcomers battle for world ranking points

Over the past 25 years, NIGHT of the JUMPs has produced legends of Freestyle Motocross. Names like Mathieu Rebeaud (CH), the first World Champion in 2006, André Villa (NOR), Remi Bizouard (FRA), three-time World Champion, Libor Podmol (CZE), and Maikel Melero (ESP), five-time World Champion, are deeply connected with the series. German top stars like Luc Ackermann and many others also took their first FMX jumps here. The anniversary season promises the best international athletes. Global superstars, icons, and rising newcomers will compete for valuable IFMXF World Ranking points and the coveted title of World Tour Champion.

The Freestyle Motocross line-up for NIGHT of the JUMPs in Dresden is set. Among them are 2010 FMX World Champion Libor Podmol from the Czech Republic, whipmaster and FMX Gladiator Games winner Matej Cesak, and Italian Vice Tour Champion 2024 Davide Rossi, who will showcase spectacular tricks like the Deadbody and Cliffhanger Flip. Joining them are Polish FMX youngster Mikolej Tempka and Swedish snowmobile and freestyle legend Daniel Bodin. Spanish rider Marc Pinyol will also thrill with tricks like the Surfer Tsunami Backflip and California Roll.

Of course, current World Champion, X Games gold medalist, and NIGHT of the JUMPs Tour Champion Luc Ackermann from Germany cannot be missing. With his double backflips, flatspin 360s, and tsunami flips, he’s currently the benchmark in the sport.

Premiere of the first-ever AirBag Competition Series in MTB

A true highlight will be the premiere of the world’s first AirBag Competition Series in MTB. These specially designed airbags not only improve safety but also guarantee shows of the highest caliber. “Airbags make the sport safer – and even more spectacular,” explains Marko Manthey, CEO of NIGHT of the JUMPs.

The line-up of MTB and BMX athletes features true superstars. Leading the way is Spanish MTB icon Alejandro Bonafe, who will wow the crowd with tricks like the Twister to Bounce Frontflip, and Czech MTB legend Dan Miler. From Germany, Berlin’s BMX star Leon Binckebanck, MTB pro Tom Pfeiffer, and young MTB talent Lennox Zimmermann, known for his frontflips and double backflips, will impress the audience. Spain’s Enzo Dejesus completes the pedal-powered crew. The crowd will also be breathless as scooter stars Maty Pekarek and Petr Castka perform scooter flips and frontflips.

Partnership with the World Trampoline Association

NIGHT of the JUMPs is also setting new standards in Freestyle Trampoline. In cooperation with the World Trampoline Association, the tour offers a one-of-a-kind setup, guaranteeing fans world premieres and incredible synchronized events. This cements NIGHT of the JUMPs as the undisputed stage for record-breaking trampoline performances and artistic innovation.

Backflips with a 350 kg snowmobile

Motorsport and freestyle fans in Dresden can look forward not only to backflips with motorcycles, bikes, or scooters – even a 350 kg snowmobile will take off for tricks and flips inside the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadium.

Global success and a loyal fanbase

Since its first show in 2001 in Riesa, NIGHT of the JUMPs has grown into a global success story: Over 350 shows in more than 22 countries across four continents, and over 3.5 million fans onsite speak volumes. By now, the third generation of fans is attending events, cheering for the spectacular stunts. “Kids who came with their parents now visit with their own children,” says Marko Manthey. This generational success makes NIGHT of the JUMPs one of the most beloved events in family entertainment.

Global tour schedule and millions of livestream views

In 2025, the anniversary tour will stop in Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Hungary. But that’s only the beginning! Thanks to livestreams and social media, NIGHT of the JUMPs also reaches a massive global audience, generating millions of views each month – a true highlight in international family entertainment.
