About this rider

David Rinaldo began his career like most others did, as a young kid riding dirt bikes. After a few years of racing in the French junior motocross championships, the NLF team rider decided to turn his attention to riding freestyle full-time at the age of 13.

Rinaldo is a perfect example of the diversity of the sport. The flying Frenchman would normally be considered as a New School rider; however, David is faithful to the Old School mindset channeling the old school style and rider lifestyle and has his body covered in classic rider tattoos. After debuting at the NIGHT of the JUMPs in 2010, David quickly became a regular podium threat showing his extreme range of skills and ability to perform under pressure.

However despite strong performances and finishing 3rd overall in 2012 it would take until March 2013 for R’Dav to claim his maiden World Championship victory beating out compatriot Remi Bizouard and close friend Libor Podmol. David then finished off the season as only he can finishing on the podium 5 times from 7 events and taking out the title of FIM FreestyleMX World Champion.
